    Best Friend Angel

I have a WONDERFUL angel experience to share!

Last September 1996, I lost my best friend in a car accident. Since that time, I've LONGED to see a sign from him, and from time to time, I ask him to show me. In May of this year, my mother bought me a beautiful mirrored angel candle holder. While I was out of town, my cat knocked it over and the angel broke off from the ledge it sat on. I set the angel inside the little hole, where the candle's supposed to go, until I got some glue to fix it. I didn't want my cat to get ahold of it and lose it. SEVERAL times, this angel has mysteriously been moved back to the little edge of the holder where it's supposed to go. I know that I did not put it there, and there's no one else here who could have done it. OR IS THERE? Is my friend answering my request to show me a sign? I'd sure like to think so.

I have several other stories to share, similar to this one, which I would love to (and plan to) do over the course of time!

    Two Angel Stories

    Dear Family

The first one was my daughter's experience. She rang me frantic from the city one day, just about three years ago, she was six months pregnant with my little grand daughter Samantha, she was telling me that she had just met her guardian angel. She was near hysterical, and begging me to believe what she was telling me. I told her that I did, as I have always known of the existence of Angels.

She was standing at an extremely busy intersection, when she felt an arm slip in and under her arm. When she turned there was a rather tall old man standing beside her. The most distinguishing feature of this man was his hair, she commented that he had grey/white hair, with a black streak from the forehead to the back of his skull. (The same as my grandfather had who died well before I was even born, co-incidently). He turned toward Tammy and told her that he was blind, could she please help him to cross the road. Tammy was happy to assist the stranger as she fell under his spell, which she could not explain, there was an immediate liking for this man. He talked to her as they walked across the road, as they neared the centre of the road, he stopped short and fell to the road. At the same time a car ran the red light and whisked past Tammy on the other side. It was so close that she felt the wind as it passed. Panicked about the old man she turned back to help him to his feet only to find there was no one there. She stood in the centre of the road confused and another man ran to her aid, as he thought that the car had actually hit her. He asked if she was alright. She said that she was, but that she didn't know where the old man had gone to. The stranger was bemused, as he had watched her cross the road and she had walked alone talking to herself. (Who said theres no angels)......I believe it was my grandfather who saved my daughters and my grand daughters life that day.

The second story, was my mother's. I was about 11 years old it was about 6.30 in the morning, my mother had left for work about twenty minutes earlier, she always left early because she worked in a factory. She had a lot of worries at this time and lets say she was off in another world as she neared the railway crossing. Having made the same journey, day after day, for such a long time, she had no need to concentrate, her body just knew where to go. I'm sure that we all have something familiar like that, that we do.

Anyway, as she went to step onto the railway crossing, she felt the presence of a hand on her shoulder and felt herself being pulled firmly backwards. So hard in fact that she stumbled and nearly fell over, at the same time the express morning train dashed through the crossing in front of her. She never saw the Angel who saved her life, but there was no one else in sight. She came straight back home, she was too shaken to go to work that day. I have never seen her the way she was when she returned. She told me everything that happened. And her words were, "My angel saved my life this morning".

    God bless her.

Well I hope that you have enjoyed these sharings, I love hearing yours. When I have more time, there are more that I have to share.

    In Love, Light and Peace.

    Myself & Angels

Hello, I was born with a birth defect on February 25, 1962. I wore "forest gump" style leg braces until I was 7 yrs old. At that time the doctors said I would probably never walk right, etc... or be able to have children (because of radiation I received weekly from x-rays). At 7, I didn't have to wear the braces anymore. Also, I loved to dance later on, ran track in high school, and have 2 healthy boys ages 7 & 13. Angels maybe?

The first time I ever felt that maybe an angel had intervened on my behalf was when I was around the age of 14 to 16. Two things occurred at that time.

One was that I had believed my father to be dead all my life. I had experienced emotional, sexual, & physical abuse from a stepfather and was freed from all that around that time. But I wanted to know my father and/or more about him. I found an address and wrote to it and they found him. Sadly, he passed before we could meet, but I am grateful for the letters and phone calls that allowed me to get to know him.

The second experience occurred around the age of 15 or 16. I was in a car with 2 friends. We had the radio on and a voice came over the station saying "slow down", then "you're driving too fast". We all heard it, and slowed down, but the kicker was then a white, formless apparition flew in front of us. We didn't slow down this time -- we stopped. We stopped and put up the roof on the cougar convertible.

A few minutes later we rounded a curve slowly to find a 3 car pileup. A big crash we'd have been a part of if angels & miracles weren't "for real."

    Dear Friends,

I have been enjoying hearing others sharing their angel stories. I am thrilled that I'm not alone in this vision, and that the angels do visit with others in very similar ways to how I am experiencing them.

Yesterday was one of those days. I am looking after my neighbors 4 month old baby - I love little babies and cannot pass by the opportunity to have such a large role in their new lives.

Mathew was in the jolly jumper - which is suspended from a large archway in my office. He was laughing and having a wonderful time, and was completely distracting me from what I was doing with his good natured squawking.

So, I sat on the floor in front of him, to join in on the fun. I noticed that his shoes were untied, and his socks needed arranging better, and I placed his little feet in my lap. He started chuckling again, and I looked into his eyes, to see where he was looking.

He was looking at me, all around my head, and in his eyes, I saw that I had wings, and even the detail was there. It was fascinating to look into his eyes, seeing this so clearly, as the baby was looking at them himself.

Babies are such a joy - even with how much time they require, they are worth every little bit of it - for these occassional glimpses into the eyes of babes.

    In light and love,
    Michelle Withers

    Angel Encounter

    Dear Sarah,

I have had one encounter that I categorically know was angelic. I am not afraid to share it with you or with your readers. Before I begin I'd like to let you know who I am. My name is David I am 36 and I am as caring and loving a man as can be found. I have been through lots of earth plane disasters and have made it through but not without my guardians, I know this may sound like another sad story or cry on my shoulder opera, but I have a point to make and that is (although I am only beginning to understand spirtual planes) that angels DO exist!!

In 1994 My wife (now x-wife) had alot of plans, I had spent 8 honorable years in the US Air Force and had established a new career. We bought a new home in Virgina and loved it, we hads plans of expanding it an were in the process of doing so. We were going to live here for 10 years sell it and move to the country with acreage...Just A Dream!! We found out that the gentleman who sold us the home had illegally setup closing on the property and charged us 20K more than the real home appraisal. Needless to say many dollars later, my attorney had decided we were getting nowhere with the seller and asked us to leave the property and rent for a year while we settled the mess. This was the first of many trials I went through. My x-wife had joined the local rescue squad and felt more secure with those friends than with me, so one day while I was at work she took the children an moved in with a man 10 years her youth. This floored me, I managed to get through that with lots of friends and prayer. Approximately 1 year later I bought a new home and moved in, I had been determined to forgive, forget and move on. At this point what was missing in my life was a companion, I dated alot of women and just could not find her, I went to church, to the malls, out dancing etc... I felt that although I was dating, I was also being punished for being a failure in marriage #1. I finally found a beautiful Jewish woman and began dating her this was in mid 1996. Shortly after we started this relationship I found that she was married. Lady X said all the right things, did all the right things and continued this so ferverently that she succeeded in keeping me around. However as time went on I realized she was lying and would never leave her husband. I cried buckets of tears over this woman and wanted to die.

I am trying to be brief about this, but to this point, I had lost my wife, children, home and all that was precious in 1 year. I managed to purchase a new home but, after 10 months the work contract I had fell through and I was forced to seek other employment, this caused me to fall behind in my mortgage and child support. I was reeling downward now. The lady I was seeing was married and had my heart, life was terrible. On Nov 7, 1996 I received a letter from the mortgage company telling me that that legal action would be taken on my home had I not paid them 4000.00. Lady-X whom I thought was the answer to my prayers avoiding me due to fears that her husband had found out about us. I was terrified. I decided to call it quits. There was nothing left in this world for me and further more, nobody needed me. I purchased 50 sleeping pills and decided to get drunk and take them. I DID!!! About 2:00am, I heard this soft faint voice telling me that I had to use the restroom. It was like this: "Dave, Dave....You have to use the restroom, you have to get up, Dave Dave..." I then awoke from a dead sleep and moved from the couch to fall flat on my face. I could hardly move, all muscles in my body felt like they weighed 1000 pounds... I staggered into the restroom and everything in my body came up and out. I then made it back to the couch and was awoken at about 8am. I called in sick to work and fell on my knees with nothing but, emptional praise for the heavenly hosts that saved my life that night, the tears flowed like rain and I knew that what I had tried to do was the worst decision I could have ever made. When I think of it I think of the song by Elton John "Someone Saved My Life Tonight" and choke up. You don't have to tell me twice that angels exist, they will speak to you without asking when you are in need, you only need listen. I know that there are still purposes in my life or I would not be here today so now I am on a conquest to find out what they are, I know that with some searching and help from within I will find the answers to all my questions. Today (Dec 26, 1997) I have a job as a Senior Network Engineer, I make 70K + in salary, my home is not in jeapordy, my children are my life, I am in my 4th year as head baseball coach for my two sons ball teams, I am still single and searching, but I have developed enough patience to know that the right person will be brought forth at the right time. Life is good! And I love and generously thank my angels for thinking of and for me while I was unable to do so for myself.

    Thanx
    Dave Henderson

    My NDE And Events

In 1992 I had carpal tunnel surgery and was given Vicodin for pain. I was about 4 days post op and had taken one of the pain pills the night before. It seemed to work well and the next morning, I wanted to be able to dress myself without pain. It was about 8 in the morning when I took the pain pill (Vicodin). My then husband had gone off to deliver some photographs to a client for whom he had taken the photos. He said he wouldn't be home until about 2 or so.

About 20 minutes after taking the pill, I had a strange feeling, sort of like feeling dizzy but not really. I also could feel my allergies starting up with my lungs feeling itchy. I have allergies all year round so it's not unusual for me to have this. I used my inhaler which didn't really help. Then it came to me that perhaps I was sensitive to the pill and then took 50mg. Benadryl...I used my inhaler that is a steroid (inhalable) and the other inhaler again and waited a bit. Sitting quiet. It kept exacerbating. I took another Benadryl. Within 5 minutes after that I could not breathe well at all so I called EMS for my area. I could not find my anaphylaxis kit at all. My hands were shaking like mad.

Now, I'm an R.N., and know about anaphylaxis but had no idea it could happen in such a short time like this.

The EMS came but I was not transportable because I was so short of breath that it wasn't possible at that time. They called for a ACLS ambulance because they were sure I'd have to be intubated. By the time they got there, my throat was almost totally closed off.

I kept pushing the oxygen mask off because it made me feel as if I was suffocating under it. I heard them say my pulse ox was 78 and dropping (should be 95-100). I also heard them say my blood pressure was 240/160 (mine usually runs about 100/60 to 120/70). They put me on the Cardiac Monitor and I saw on the monitor that I was in supraventricular tachycardia and my heard rate was 144 (it's usually around 80). I also saw that I had a small 'Q' wave and slightly elevated 'T' wave They gave me Benadryl IV push and Solumedrol IV Push. The Benadryl I took by mouth earlier and the meds they gave me and the respiratory treatment that was coming thru the mask started to work but I still wasn't stable enough so they took me to the hospital.

I remember that when the paramedics first came being very angry that I was going to die suffocating. I had begged to die just the night before this because my marriage was not a marriage and I felt so useless, worthless, etc. I didn't want to live.

All of a sudden during this experience still, I felt a voice (I didn't hear it in my ears but felt it with my soul). What I felt was this: "Don't be afraid, everything is going to be fine."

Then I felt another message: "You have to tell my parents that they didn't do anything wrong, that they couldn't prevent what happened. It just happened. It was my time. My physical body had to leave. Tell them it is beautiful here and I am very happy." I remember KNOWING this was Karl-Heinz Kohlmeyer. He was the son of friends of mine in South Africa who was killed in 1985 when his car ran into a tree near their home. When he died he was 20 years old. His parents had taken some guests on Safari and were in the middle of the bush and had to drive home 4 hours in the middle of the night to come identify his body. It was very sad for them. This boy was one that the mom had postpartum depression after she had him and had to be hospitalized for about 3 months until he was 9 months old or so (just a bit of background information). She felt guilty about this boy and her feelings about him at the time of his birth. His death made her feel very guilty.

After that message I felt another one: "Don't be afraid, you will know what to do by what happens next." I thought next meant the immediate next but that wasn't exactly what it meant.

I was in the hospital from about 1000am that day until about 2pm. Around noon, the paramedics had delivered another person to the hospital and came to see how I was doing. They told me they thought they were going to lose me. I said, "Well when you said how high my blood pressure was and when I saw my heart rate and that I was in SVT on the monitor with a small 'Q' and elevated 'T' wave I thought I'd have either a heart attack or a stroke for sure. They looked at each other kind of funny and I said to the third one that was there (he came with the first ambulance), "It's a good thing you knew where to find my phone so you could call for ACLS." He said, "I didn't use your phone, I called from my truck (the 1st ambulance). I said, "Are you sure? I heard what you said, that you thought you were going to have to tube me (intubate)." He said, "Ma'm I called from my truck. Then I said, "Well at least you said what my vital signs were and had the monitor so I could see it." The other guy said, "The monitor wasn't facing you and I didn't say your vital signs out loud. You couldn't have heard what they are, but you're correct about everything." I said, "Well, I knew and I remember it." They just smiled and said, "Not from us you didn't." I thanked them for being there for me and they left. I never did get their names.

When I went to the hospital, I didn't have my purse with me or anything else (wasn't time). The hospital had left a message on the answering machine at our home stating where I was and why. I didn't have any money or my insurance cards...the hospital had to call where I work to get the numbers from the insurance. Because I didn't have my purse, the hospital let me use the phone to call my husband for a ride home.

When my husband answered the phone he said, "Why are you still in the hospital? I don't have time for this. Why didn't you come home on your own I can't come. I have a golf date and I want to go swimming. I ate breakfast at 10 and I'm hungry now and would really like to eat." I remember thinking that if he had phoned me with the same request that I would have grabbed something quick to eat in the car and been there in a flash. The hospital was about 8 miles from our home.

I explained that there wasn't time to get my purse and I had no money or anything else with me except the clothes on my back and the shoes on my feet. He asked me why didn't I have the presence of mind to have the things I needed to take. I explained that I couldn't breathe and my purse was the last thing on my mind at the time. He said, "You could be better organized you know. Why don't you call a cab, have them bring you here and then you can get your purse and pay the cab driver." I said I didn't have any money. He said, "Well I don't have any cash, I'd have to go to the bank and there isn't time." He then suggested the cab driver drive me home, I get the ATM card and go to the bank, get the money out and pay the cab driver."

Under ordinary circumstances I would have been very hurt and upset but I didn't feel this, just a peace and calmness. I told him, "I'll wait for you here and when you are done with what you have to do, I'll be here." He made another 15 excuses and then said he'd come get me but I would have to wait about 2-1/2 hours. I said fine that I'd wait. Why did I wait for him to come? I remember feeling that as my husband he should at least care what happened to me.

As I waited for him it dawned on me that this was my answer as to what to do next. It was crystal clear to me that I wasn't his first or even second priority. In fact I knew then I was his last priority and that he didn't love me. I knew all the counselling I had and work I did for the marriage to keep it together was perhaps useful for me as a person, but would never do anything to bring the marriage to the loving relationship it should have been.

When I had that feeling, I felt complete and total relief. I felt again the message, "Don't be afraid, I am with you, beside you."

When he came, my then husband wasn't even concerned...he didn't ask me what happened, just that he was frustrated with my lack of organization as was evidenced by me not bring my purse with me and (believe it or not) not driving myself to the hosiptal so someone wouldn't have to come get me. Everything he said and did from that moment on showed me so clearly that this man to whom I'd been married 28 years (since I was a young young woman) did not love me. It showed me he didn't even like me and that playing golf, going swimming, eating and all his other projects (chess, table tennis, buying stuff, meeting with other people, etc., etc., etc. took first priority. I realized that these things in his life had taken priority also over our children. I realized that I was blessed to even have children (I was the one who initiated and was the interested party, and he wasn't). I realized that no matter what I looked like (which meant not beautiful) that if someone loves you it makes no difference. I felt also in that moment the words, "Love is unconditional, you don't have to be beautiful or sexy or perfect. If someone loves you, all you have to do is to be yourself." I KNEW what I had missed and what could be in the future.

I can't explain it at all. When someone asks me if I heard the voice I have to say no because I felt it. It was inside me ... put inside me. The feeling inside me that said to tell his parents something came from another source...I knew that too. It came from Karl-Heinz. The other messages that came to me were not from him. Don't ask me how I know, I just know.

By the way, I am a Registered Nurse and thought that this kind of experience came from various physiological changes. I learned otherwise with my experience. I remember everything that happened and saw it all like I was standing right next to the Paramedics. I wasn't above them, but rather right next to them. I watched them put the medications into the I.V. I remember they couldn't intubate me because my throat was nearly swollen shut. They were talking about a Tracheostomy when the medications began to work and eliminated the need for one (thank goodness).

I am now divorced. I am jobless and have used up all my savings and don't know what's going to happen next. I get down a bit but then I hear too, "Don't be afraid..."
