Driving
We had a van-load of people and had just had a
fun day shopping. On the way home, all six of us almost died. We were in
a 65 mile per hour zone and talking and driving up a hill, when all of a
sudden I saw a truck stopped right in the road in front of us!!! There
was a car in the on-coming lane. I yelled to Delmer and braced myself for
the crash. Delmer screeched on the brakes, but we all could see that it
wouldn't be in time. Miraculously, the truck suddenly zoomed out of our
way and no-one was hurt!!!!!!! I know, without a doubt, that it was our
angels stepping in!!!!! :)

Another Driving Story
I had only had my first car, a Bug, a little
while. Coming home from work one day it was raining torrents!! (unusual
for the PNW) I was coming up on a line of traffic at a stop light, but
didn't slow down much because the light was green and traffic had started
to move. Suddenly, they stopped!!! I slammed on my breaks, volplaning on
the rainwater on the pavement. Instead of slowing down, my car seemed to
speed up! Quickly, I pumped the breaks, until I volplaned, and pumped my
breaks again. I was slowing down, but not fast enough! Jamming my Bug
into first, I popped the clutch, but too late! I was less than a car
length from the car in front of me and still going about 15 mph. "Oh, God,
NO!" I breathed. In slow motion I watched the other car's bumper
disappear from my sight, I was so close. Then, my little Bug stopped so
suddenly that I was thrown forward against my seat belt. BUT I HADN'T
HIT THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME!!!!! I was so close that there must have
been only an inch or less between us. I Thanked God all the way home for
keeping me safe and sending an Angel to stop me in time!!!!

Divine Intervention
One winter I was driving home to my apartment complex. As I turned into
the driveway that led down to my spot in the carport, I noticed it was
VERY slippery. It was without a doubt, the slickest ice I have ever
been on. I completely lost control of the car, and pumping the breaks
did nothing. Helplessly, I slid toward the carport where other cars
where parked. I was destined straight for them, and there was nothing I
could do about it- I couldn't stop, I couldn't steer, I just kept trying
to control the car and not hit the two cars that were right in front of
me. I was scared, not only because I was about to hit two cars, but
because I had also been in a car accident 6 months prior. At the last
second, my car turned completely sideways, and I ended up perpendicular
to the two cars, about an inch or two from hitting them. I know it
sounds hard to believe, and even harder to picture, but only a divine
act could've forced my car from hitting the other two cars. To top it
all off, my car spun so it was faced towards where my spot in the
carport was. This was 4 years ago, and to this day, I know angels
stopped me from getting in another accident.
Bright Blessings to all of you.
