THE STORY OF THE BIBLE
By Sandi Gamble
God handed down text to many people, who just like Edgar Cayce, wrote down what
they believed to have been the truth as God wanted. Now, the original documents
are actually held in the vault underneath the Vatican in Rome. This of course
was many hundreds of years ago.
Now, back then there was a hen pecking order, 'the king', his 'priest or
spiritual advisor' and then the upper society, and the peasants. The king took
care of the priest/spiritual advisor and the upper class, the peasants fell in
somewhere under that, and took care of the king by way of taxes. Lots of taxes,
for the priviledge of living on his land. (yeah right).
When the king wanted to do something, he had to make sure that it was
spiritually/morally right before doing so. So he would send for his
priest/seer/spiritual advisor and give him the question, to which the
priest/seer/spiritual advisor would scrurry away to consult the "what we call"
bible. He would come back with an answer, usually not the right one. The king
would become angry because he's position as king and his power was undermined
because of what God wanted. He would send his priest/seer/spiritual advisor
back to whence he came to come up with the right answer, so there we have number
one change. This process however continued, and each new law of the 'so called
bible', was handed down through that aristrocracy to the peasants and so it
became God's law.
If the priest/seer/spiritual advisor would not say what the King wanted they
were immediately beheaded and a new one put in their place. Now of course as
time went by and the kings of the land realised that they had so much power over
their priest/seer/spiritual advisor's they became more greedy, and so the power
of the bible was used to intimidate the peasants into paying more taxes etc, and
so eventuated the plate that we hand around at church on Sunday. This was an
offering to the King of the land so that he would ensure their safety from such
a vengeful and hateful God, who would see them all dead in an instant, should
they not do the right thing and pay for his love. (How that has passed down
through the generations).....
Well, I was not there at the time, but I believe this scenario to be true, as I
will demonstrate to you. There was a priest/seer/spiritual advisor called Sir
Thomas Moore, King Henry the V111 wanted to divorce his beloved wife Katherine?
(Correct me there if I am wrong with her name), because he had fallen in lust
with another. He called for his priest/seer/spiritual advisor Sir Thomas, who
came back with the answer, NOT LIKELY. He was peeved at this attitude and so
told him to leave his sight, if the bible, God or Catholic Church, as it was at
that time would not allow him to marry another, without first murdering, yes
murdering the first, then he would just make a new church, and so was born the
"Church of England", and that church would not call for such ridiculous actions
for him to remarry another. So murder was alright at that stage. (Well
beheading). He so did love his wife Katherine, that he could not bear the
thought of beheading her like the other seven.
And so another new chapter was written into the bible. And a new church was
formed. See where this is heading. The Catholic Church will never realease the
true documents as the world would go up in sheer delight at the loving God that
they might find. But all of the hate and murder etc was put into the bible to
scare the common man into giving more money to their king. Very sad! The
sadder thing is that these ridiculous statements are still believed and taught.
God is vengeful and full of hate. Well if its any consolation, I have had an
NDE and I say that God is loving, unconditionally. He is so loving. Try
readind "Conversations with God", I truly believe the words contained within
that book to be more the God I would believe in. A loving God.
Well put away soap box, and go back to studying. I hope I haven't bored you all badly or upset anyone, this is my opinion, and that
of a few others, but it is what happened.
It is a book written by man for man. The word of God still
comes through when you feel love, but other than that, beware.

Do Not Judge Me!
By Stormy WindWalker
aka Rev. Debbie Johnson
Do not judge me by the color of my skin, just because it`s
different from yours. No matter what color I may be on the outside, inside
I`m the same as you.
Do not judge me by the style of clothes I choose to wear.
It is not the clothes a person wears that makes them who or what they
are.
Do not judge me by the company I keep just because you may
not approve of them. No matter what type of crowd you may find me in,
I am my own person, responsible for my own actions.
Do not judge me by the places I go and the places you don`t
go. In my mind and heart it is better to go where you want to be than a
place where you don`t want to be.
Do not judge me by what I drink nor the foods I choose to
eat. It is not what goes in through my mouth, but what the heart allows
to come out.
Do not judge me by the way I may act, just because to you it
may seem to be a bit strange. It`s just the way Goddess made me, and
it`s the only way I know how to be.
Do not judge me by the lifestyle I choose to live, just
because it`s far different from yours, because as
sure as the days are different from the nights and the
seasons are different from each other, I, too, am different from you.
Do not judge me by my Religion, nor the way I choose to
worship, just because it`s different from
yours. No matter what Religion we choose, or how we may
worship, we all worship and serve the same Deity.
Do not judge me by what you have and what I don`t have,
because our blessings were not meant to be the same.
Do not judge or critize anyone, for there are no perfect
beings on Mother Earth. We all make mistakes at some point and time in
our lives. We should accept people for who and what they are, regardless
of how different one may seem or be. We should all learn to live and let live....love instead of
hate....help each other instead of hurting!
If you should ever get the urge to judge someone, I suggest
you stop....take a good, long look at yourself and the life
you`ve chosen to live, then ask yourself one question, "Who am I to judge?"
However, once you`ve done this and you still feel you have
the RIGHT to judge others, let me be the first to congratulate YOU for
being PERFECT!

The New Our Father
Our Mother who art in Earth and Heaven,
(as we are in the MOTHER
and HEAVEN is in us)
Hallowed, respectful, joyful thy name.
Thy holy realm is already come,
Thy will awaits us to be done.
Give us this day the strength to love,
To be the lion and the dove.
Forgive us as we tread your flowers,
Ignoring duties that are ours.
Lead us from annihilation
TO CELEBRATE ALL CREATION,
For we share in the life and in the power
And in the glory forever and ever.

Stick Of Wood
Six humans trapped by happenstance in bleak and bitter cold.
Each one had a stick of wood, or so the story told.
Their dying fire in need of logs, the first man held his back,
For of the faces around the fire, he noticed one was black.
The next man looking cross the way saw one not of his church,
And couldn't bring himself to give the fire his stick of birch.
The third one sat in tattered clothes, he gave his coat a twitch.
Why should his log be put to use to warm the idle rich?
The rich man just sat back and thought of the wealth he had in store,
And how to keep what he had earned from the lazy, shiftless poor.
The black man's face, it spoke revenge as the fire passed from his sight,
For all he saw in his stick of wood was a chance to spite the white.
The last man of this forlorn group did naught except for gain,
Giving only to those who gave was how he played the game.
Their logs held tight in death's still hands was proof of human sin.
They did not die of the cold without, they died from the cold within.

A Letter From Mom and Dad
Subject: A letter from *Mom* and *Dad*
From: God/dess
To: Our Children of Earth
Re: Idiotic Religious Rivalries
Dear Children (and believe us, that's all of you),
We consider ourselves pretty patient folks. For instance, look at the Grand
Canyon. It took millions of years to get it right. And about evolution? Boy,
nothing is slower than designing that whole Darwinian thing to take place,
cell by cell, and gene by gene.
We've been patient through your fashions, civilizations, wars and schemes, and
the countless ways you take Us for granted until you get yourselves into big
trouble again and again.
We want to let you know about some of the things that are starting to tick Us
off.
First of all, your religious rivalries are driving Us up a wall. Enough
already! Let's get one thing straight: These are YOUR religions, not Ours.
We're the whole enchilada; We're beyond them all. Every one of your religions
claims there is only one of Us (which by the way, is absolutely true). But in
the very next breath, each religion claims it's Our favorite one.
And each claims it's scriptures were written personally by Us, and that all
the other scriptures are man-made. Oy Vey. How do We even begin to put a stop
to such complicated nonsense?
Okay, listen up now. We're your Father AND Mother, and We don't play favorites
among Our children.
Also, We hate to break it to you, but We don't write. Our longhand is awful,
and We've always been more of "doers" anyway. So ALL of your books, including
those Bibles, were written by men and women. They were inspired, remarkable
people, but they also made mistakes here and there. We made sure of that
so that you would never trust a written word more than your own living heart.
You see, one human being to Us, even a bum on the street, is worth more than
all the Holy Books in the world. That's just the kind of folks we are.
Our spirit is not a historical thing. It's alive right here, right now, as
fresh as your next breath.
Holy books and religious rites are sacred and powerful, but not more so than
the least of you. They were only meant to steer you in the right direction,
not to keep you arguing with each other, and certainly not to keep you from
trusting your own personal connection with Us.
Which brings Us to Our next point about your nonsense. You act like We need
you and your religions to stick up for Us or "win souls" for Our sake. Please,
don't do Us any favors. We can stand quite well on our own, thank you. We don't
need you to defend Us, and We don't need constant credit. We just want you to
be good to each other.
And another thing, We don't get all worked up over money or politics, so stop
dragging Our names into your dramas. For example, We swear to Us
::::smile::::, that We never threatened Oral Roberts. We never rode in any of
Rajneesh's Rolls Royces. We never told Pat Robertson to run for president, and
We've never, EVER had a conversation with Jim Baker, Jerry Falwell, or Jimmy
Swaggart! Of course, come Judgment Day, We certainly intend to....
The thing is, We want you to stop thinking of religion as some sort of loyalty
pledge to Us.
The true purpose of your religions is so that YOU can become more aware of Us,
not the other way around. Believe Us, We know you already. We know what's in
each of your hearts, and We love you with no strings attached.
Lighten up and enjoy Us. That's what religion is best for. What you seem to
forget is how mysterious We are.
You look at the petty differences in your Scriptures and say, "Well, if THIS
is the truth, then THAT can't be!" But instead of trying to figure out Our
Paradoxes and Unfathomable Nature, which by the way, you NEVER will, why not
open your hearts to the simple common threads in all religions.
You know what We're talking about. Love and respect everyone. Be kind, even
when life is scary or confusing. Take courage and be of good cheer, for We are
always with you. Learn how to be quiet, so you can hear Our still, small
voice. (We don't like to shout).
Leave the world a better place by living your life with dignity and
gracefulness, for you are Our Own Children. Hold back nothing from life, for
the parts of you that can die surely will, and the parts that can't, won't. So
don't worry, be happy. (We stole that last line from Bobby McFerrin.)
Simple stuff. Why do you keep making it so complicated? It's like you're
always looking for an excuse to be upset. And We're very tired of being
your main excuse. Do you think We care whether you call Us.... Yahweh,
Jehovah, Allah, Diana, Wakantonka, Brahma, Cerridwen, Father, Mother, God,
Goddess or even the Void of Nirvana? Do you think We care which of Our
special children you feel closest to, Jesus, Mary, Buddha, Krishna, Gerald,
Mohammed or any of the others? You can call Us and Our Special Ones any
name you choose, if only you would go about Our business of loving one
another as We love you. How can you keep neglecting something so simple?
We're not telling you to abandon your religions. Enjoy your religions, honor
them, learn from them, just as you should enjoy, honor, and learn from your
parents.
But do you walk around telling everyone that your parents are better than
theirs? Your religion, like your parents, may always have the most special
place in your hearts, We don't mind that at all. And We don't want you to
combine all the Great Traditions in One Big Mess. Each religion is unique for
a reason. Each has a unique style so that people can find the best path for
themselves.
Know that Our Special Children, the ones that your religions revolve around,
all live in the same place, (Our heart), and they get along perfectly, We
assure you.
The clergy must stop creating a myth of sibling rivalry where there is none.
Our blessed children of Earth, the world has grown too small for you pervasive
religious bigotries and confusion. The whole planet is connected by air
travel, satellite dishes, telephones, fax machines, rock concerts, diseases,
and mutual needs and concerns.
Get with the program! If you really want to help, then commit yourselves to
figuring out how to feed your hungry, clothe your naked, protect your abused,
and shelter your poor. And just as importantly, make your own everyday life a
shining example of kindness and good humor. We've given you all the resources
you need, if only you abandon your fear of each other and begin living, loving
and laughing together.
We're not really ticked off. We just wanted to grab your attention because We
hate to see you suffer. But We have given you free will to choose your own
paths, and We just want you to be happy.
In Perfect Love and Perfect Trust,
Us
